NewsVictory To Release Limited Edition, Color VinylChicago based indie label Victory Records, has announced its plan to release five of its most popular titles on limited edition, color vinyl. Included in the releases are the classic 10-inch Omega Sessions from Bad Brains and the legendary debut Spit My Last Breath from hardcore band Blood For Blood. "We're very excited about the releases and so are the independent record stores across the world," says Rick Linus, a sales representative for the label. "Victory started with 7-inches and colored vinyl from Snapcase and Earth Crisis and it's very exciting that the appreciation is still there. These artists have very passionate fans and I think for them to have these records on vinyl adds to the value of the music for them." In addition to the two classics, current label acts Bayside, Comeback Kid, and Atreyu will be getting the vinyl treatment as well. Customers can log on to www.interpunk.com to pre-order copies of the albums, but act fast as they are limited to 200 copies. Later on this year, the label plans to release more classic and future releases on vinyl as well.
